Prayer

Prayer is a vital component if the church is to move forward for God and see lives changed. God says, "My house shall be called a house of prayer." We encourage every believer to commit time each day in private prayer and to join with a few other believers at least once a week for corporate prayer. For those who can't come to a prayer group, call a fellow believer and pray together by phone.

SUNDAYS, 9 AM – LEADERSHIP PRAYER
Our pastors, core leaders and praise team members (and anyone who wants to join with us) pray together each Sunday in the lobby of our Worship Building. The focus is seeking God's presence and power for the morning worship service and Christian Education hour.

TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS, 6 AM – INTERCESSORY PRAYER
Twice a week a few of us gather in the sanctuary for early morning prayer. After a few minutes of individual prayer, we come together in the prayer of agreement. These are often powerful times of intercession for our church, families, and city, state, and national leaders. We also pray for our community that God will use us to bring in the harvest all around us.

TUESDAYS, 10:30 AM – LADIES PRAYER & SHARE
This prayer group focuses on the individual needs inside and outside of our congregation. They also pray for the requests that people submit on the "Connecting" tab of the Sunday bulletin.

PRAYER TEAMS
Our "Prayer Teams" are available during the ministry time in our Sunday morning worship service to pray with those who come forward with various needs. If the need is for physical healing, we anoint with oil in obedience to James 5:14. Prayer Team members are recruited by the pastor and go through special training.
